Linda Aldy jokingly tells people that she has Professional A.D.D. (attention deficit disorder).

"Because I have had the opportunity to do so many wonderful and different things," she explained. "I have been a newspaper reporter, a weekly newspaper editor, worked in the administrations of three governors, run for the House of Representatives, started two magazines worked in communications and customer service at the corporate level and now host an ETV program on educational issues ("The Learning Exchange") among other things. In all of those, it has been very important to me that my life be one that helps others."
