SUNNYVALE, CA -- AMD [NYSE: AMD] today announced an expansion of its family of AMD Opteron(tm) processors with the new AMD Opteron processor 800 Series, for 4-way and 8-way servers and the 100 Series, for 1-way servers and workstations.
