SAN FRANCISCO, and RESTON, Va., Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Arxan Technologies, a leading provider of anti-tamper software protection solutions, today announced it has secured $8.3 million in Series B financing led by the Paladin Homeland Security Fund, with EDF Ventures, and Solstice Capital. The round also includes a pro-rata investment from Arxan's Series A investor, Trident Capital. Arxan will use the capital raised in this round to support the company's go-to-market strategy, product offering, and extension of products into new markets.

"After an extensive review process, we found Arxan to be the technology leader in the anti-tamper software protection space. Arxan offers an innovative security technology that effectively secures sensitive government applications against tampering while avoiding the heavy costs and resources usually associated with these activities," said Kenneth Minihan, a principal with Paladin Homeland Security Fund. "Paladin does not typically invest in startups," stated Minihan. "An early stage company would have to be truly sterling for us to be interested."
