What began as an early morning police standoff fueled by a domestic dispute, ended Wednesday with the recovery of illegal guns and drugs from a Mundelein house, authorities said.
Police discovered marijuana and six guns, including a sawed-off shotgun, after arresting the couple who held them at bay for five hours, police said.
Allen Murray, 40, and his wife, Maureen, 32, of 552 Bonniebrook Ave., now face a host of charges, ranging from child endangerment and resisting arrest to felonies involving cannabis and illegal weapons.
