AMSTERDAM, Holland - At the Integrated Incident Response and Management Technologies Conference, Motorola (NYSE:MOT) announces its new advanced rugged mobile computer is now available in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The new computer, MW 800, combines the latest in wireless communication IT technology with the power of a desktop PC, the ruggedness of a mobile radio as well as the connectivity of a multimedia hub. The mobile unit is designed to help bring mission critical data from the control room into the field and vice versa, helping users, such as public safety officers, deal more quickly and efficiently with incidents and daily tasks.

The mobile computer is designed to be mounted in a vehicle and has various uses depending on which emergency service it is being used by. Its flexibility in deployment is demonstrated by the fact that each MW 800 unit supports two RGB screen display ports....
