CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Alexander Children's Center, North Carolina's leading children's behavioral healthcare provider, and YouthNetwork will merge effective July 1, 2003. Both organizations will continue to operate under their existing names and provide the same array of services currently offered. YouthNetwork will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Alexander Children's Center. The merged organization will develop new community-based programs under the name Alexander Youth Network.

N. Craig Bass, current president of Alexander Children's Center, will continue to serve as president of the combined organization. David Hoppe, current executive director of YouthNetwork, will continue in that position as well as serve as senior vice president and chief operating officer of the combined organization.
