Regardless of what they think of a weekend melee at a downtown Eugene nightclub, neighboring businesses say the disturbance points to the absence of a vision for the city center.

At Sixth Avenue and Willamette Street, The Jungle is just north of what Mayor Jim Torrey has called the city's most prominent corner - Seventh Avenue and Willamette Street, home to the Hult Center for the Performing Arts and the Hilton hotel.
