Anscott Industries, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: ASCT), Wayne, N.J., has launched its Xpel(R) Fabric Protector. Xpel Fabric Protector is an aqueous fluoropolymer treatment that forms a protective shield around fibers and fabrics giving them repellency against oil and water stains. This protective coating allows fabric to breathe rather than clogging up the spaces of the weave. Each application cost is extremely low and is non-toxic, non-flammable and environmentally safe. The product launch comes after several applications were developed beyond the traditional use of rain and stain repellency for textiles.
