Elsie Haugen
A memorial service will be held May 10 for Elsie Irene Haugen of Eugene, who died May 5 of age-related causes. She was 94.
Haugen was born Jan. 18, 1909, in Eugene to Edward and Hattie Wood Hansaker. She married Alfred Haugen in White Salmon, Wash., on Nov. 1, 1950. He died May 27, 1997.
She lived in Eugene for most of her life except for brief periods when she lived in Bend and Los Angeles.
She owned several restaurants, and she enjoyed cooking and watching soap operas.
Survivors include two sons, Edward Kelly of Woodburn and Bob Johnson of Central Point; a daughter, Connie Downey of Mount Vernon, Wash.; a sister, Comet Holmes of Junction City; and numerous grandchildren. Two daughters, Mae Johnson and Irene Conn, a son, Norman Jones, and a stepson, Joe Haugen, died previously.
Saturday's service will be held at 11 a.m. at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene. Inurnment will be at Lane Memorial Gardens.

Mary Lou Lancaster
SPRINGFIELD - A celebration of life will be held May 10 for Mary Lou Nystrom Lancaster of Springfield, who died May 3 of age-related causes. She was 76.
Lancaster was born Feb. 26, 1927, in Eugene to Floyd and Julia Redmond Ny- strom.
She was a lifetime resident of this area and graduated from Monroe Union High School. She was a homemaker and worked as a cook and an elder caretaker.
She enjoyed tole painting, flowers and being a flea market greeter. She was a member of the Junction City Moose Lodge and the Rebekah Lodge of Alpine.
Survivors include three daughters, Rebecca Crowson of Monroe, Kathy Coon of Junction City and Marcia Lancaster of Eugene; a son, Michael of Monroe; a brother, Ron Nystrom of Monroe; a sister, Jackie Wills of Creswell; seven grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.
The celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bellfountain Community Church. Alpha Cremation Service in Junction City is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Sacred Heart.
Lloyd Felkner
SPRINGFIELD - A celebration of life will be held May 10 for Lloyd George Felkner of Springfield, who died May 4 of cancer. He was 69.
Felkner was born May 15, 1933, in Oklahoma to Noble and Irene Coleman Felkner.
