STARKVILLE -- Mississippi college graduates need jobs. Mississippi businesses need bright, capable, well-trained employees. Why not make it easier for the two to link up?

That's the brainchild of Dr. Arthur Cosby, director of the Social Science Research Center at Mississippi State University (MSU). Cosby recently made a presentation to the Board of Trustees of the Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) called the "Talent Project" proposing a system that would track college graduates by location and degree, and match the information to existing businesses and industry or new industries considering locating in the area.
