Students at Christian Liberty Academy in Arlington Heights know firsthand about the benefits of attending a small Christian high school. They take religion and philosophy courses, attend daily chapel services and are challenged to work for social justice in their diverse communities.

That's along with carrying their full high school course load. However just before graduation, a tragic accident reinforced the benefits of attending a Christian school, even more.

When they returned from the Memorial Day weekend, they were saddened to hear of the death of their school secretary, Rita Domitro, her husband and sixth-grade son in an automobile accident.

Immediately the school chaplain, the Rev. David Cole and Assistant Headmaster Dave Arwine, served as grief counselors for students and staff members. That same day they held a...
