Woodfield Shopping Center is the latest to join the trend of offering painting studios at the mall.

Retired teacher Dave Emerson of Deerfield started Paint-N-Party at the Schaumburg mall last month. He launched a location at Northbrook Court about three years ago and was involved with a former partner in opening Painted Penguin stores at malls in Vernon Hills, Aurora and Bloomingdale....
