SAO PAULO, Brazil -- Export prices for Brazilian steel slab have fallen to $210 a tonne f.o.b. for shipment in July and August from recent levels of $230 a tonne, according to Omar Silva Jr., president of Brazilian flat products and slab maker Cia. Siderurgica Paulista (Cosipa).
