Managing the details of an operation the size of Nissan canton is an astonishing feat.

Several years ago, to help strengthen and consolidate its network, the company established Nissan Logistics Corporation (NLC) to handle logistics procurement for North American-made parts. NLC acts as a distribution network, arranging for the consolidation and transportation of parts from suppliers to Nissan's assembly plants in Mexico and Japan.
