Alpha Pro Tech (AMEX:APT) (CHX:APT) a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of disposable protective apparel for the medical, industrial safety, pharmaceutical, clean room, dental and food service markets, today announced that it has received in the past three weeks, an additional $2.0 million in aggregate orders for its N-95 Particulate Respirator face masks and eye shields in response to the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) outbreak.
Since the news release on May 8th, the Company has received approximately $2.0 Million additional SARS related orders primarily for Asia. SARS related orders since March 28, 2003 total approximately $5.5 million.
