JUNCTION CITY - The action in the streets is frenetic - steamrollers moving that way, dump trucks backing up this way - but the days are long and getting longer for business owners looking out their windows along the east side of Ivy Street.

"We've been really slow," said Nicole Prechel, manager of the Arby's store on the north end of Ivy, which is what Highway 99 becomes as you drive through town.

"It's very inconvenient for the people that come in because they have to do a big loop through," she said of customers who use the fast-food restaurant's drive-through window.
