We in this business bristle at the talk of censorship. But talk we do about it these days, especially when it comes to covering a war.

How much should journalists report (as much as they can get their hands on; if military and political leaders are foolish enough to say it, any journalist worth his salt had better report it), or are they being un-patriotic for doing their job (of course not; duh, it's their job). Such questions inevitably arise when it's wartime -- especially in this age of made-for-TV wars.

Still, a little censorship on the homefront wouldn't hurt. Now, I'm not talking about breaching national security here. It's actually much simpler.
