Lane's Baker wins NWAACC decathlon crown

SPOKANE - Lane Community College's Keith Baker rode solid marks in the 100 hurdles and javelin to a victory in the NWAACC Decathlon Championships on Tuesday.

Baker finished with 6,667 points to beat out second-place Ryan Long of Spokane. He ran 15.55 seconds in the hurdles and threw the javelin 174 feet, 2 inches on the final day of competition.
