WELL WHO WOULDA THUNK THE AGgies would get themselves some fancy Yankee professor who would write an article on how the Battle of the Alamo was all a mistake ["The Alamo Should Never Have Happened," March 2003]. I surely do hope Mr. Brands is well ensconced in the Brazos witness-protection program and that his disguises keep him from being tarred and feathered or worse, like being shipped to t.u. Thanks for the great history lesson and for the fresh point of view.
