Despite some trepidation among advertising buying executives, syndication sellers are getting modest 6 percent advertising price increases-similar to the increases network and cable programming has been earning in the upfront selling season, media buying and selling executives said.

In the face of a slow-moving market-inventory is about half sold-estimates are that national syndication advertising is on pace to see a 12 percent gain in overall dollars to $2.8 billion for the upcoming broadcast season, according to industry executives.
