Associaton of Steel Distributors
The Association of Steel Distributors was formed in 1943 to promote the role of independent distribution in the steel market. Today it has about 100 members. President for the 2003 term is Maurice Loeffel Jr., Loeffel Steel Products Inc.; executive vice president, Pete Moceri Sr., Metal Sales Inc.; treasurer, Thomas Smith, B&D Steel Co.; and past president, Howard Rekoon, Parkdale International.
Regional Vice Presidents: Eastern Region, Steve Bergman, Premier Steel; Central Region, Dominic Vitucci Jr., Vitco Steel Supply Corp.
Committees: Bylaws, executive, finance, government relations, membership, convention, fall conference, nominating and program.
