A 2003 Ford Expedition belonging to the Lisle/Woodridge Fire Protection District is igniting a little enthusiasm in Indianapolis this week at the nation's largest fire and emergency service show.

The cutting-edge equipment on the sports utility vehicle will be the centerpiece of Federal Signal Corp.' s booth at the conference. Federal Signal is based in Illinois.

"It's the newest technology for warning lights and the first of its kind coming off the factory floor at Federal," said Assistant Chief Steve Rauter, who will drive the new vehicle when it returns to Lisle for active use.
