Bloomingdale's St. Isidore parishioners will have to excuse the Rev. Tony Taschetta and the Rev. Felipe Legarreta if they seem a little tired lately.

The two, along with Andrea Gallo, youth ministry director, have spent the past few months training for the Accenture Chicago Triathlon, which will be Aug. 29. They will compete in the world's largest triathlon as Team Trinity.

"In essence, my family in the parish told me to go jump in the lake," Taschetta said. "And that's fine with me, but it's going to cost them."

The parish has renamed the race the Trinity Triathlon and created a new Education Endowment Fund that will promote religious life for all ages...
