If music is food for the soul, the local chapter of the Red Cross will be tending the masses while raising funds for its many services during several benefits.

Music (including young local talented singer Carly Hoban, Liberace impersonator Wayland Pickard and area bands) as well as tasty treats are all part of the offerings throughout the month of August. So step out and enjoy yourself, while simultaneously helping out the greater community.

Speaking of treats, check out the Aug. 8 benefit for the Fox River Chapter of the Red Cross, where one of the featured events will be a chocolate fountain.
