JACKSON -- It may sound like an advertisement but the company's founders swear it's the truth: Pileum Corporation is easy to do business with, flexible and offers good services at a reasonable price.

"We certainly intend on growing one customer at a time, and so far we've accomplished that," said Jill Beneke, Pileum president and CEO.

Beneke started Pileum with business partner and Pileum director of engineering Sandy Turnage in 2002. The two met while working together for a large consulting company in Jackson, and they discovered that their varied backgrounds were the perfect match for a new business.

Beneke worked at Deposit Guaranty as senior vice president, manager of cash management, investments and trust services and later for a large consulting company.
