Bigfoot lives. And he's got a new family.

The fluffy, brown, six-toed tabby was adopted after a nine-day stay at the Greenhill Humane Society shelter in Eugene.

Only problem is, the cat's former owners weren't ready to let him go, and they'd like him back. The new owners, however, have grown attached to the cat and don't want to give him up.

Bigfoot, a known roamer on the edge of Veneta, was caught Feb. 12 in a trap set near his home by the city's animal control officer. Lacking a collar or identification, the neutered male was taken to Greenhill, where the city delivers all the strays and feral cats it rounds...
