JUNCTION CITY - The year they were born was the year the Teddy bear, named for President Teddy Roosevelt, was created by a Russian immigrant. Arthur Conan Doyle wrote "The Hound of the Baskervilles." And the world's first air conditioner was invented.

It was 1902 and three baby girls - Hazel, Etta and Nora - were born in separate states.

Hazel Forsberg was born in the Bronx. Etta Wilson was born in America's heartland, in the city of Pierce, Neb. And Nora Pehrsson Robertson was born in the tiny town of LaComb, S.D.
