Is Oregon's economy really the sorriest in the nation?

Don't believe that hype, says the Oregon Center for Public Policy, a research group in Silverton.

In a report issued Wednesday, the nonprofit group said Oregon's job growth in the past year has been fairly healthy, and that public officials shouldn't overreact to the atmosphere of alarm.
