Electronic adhesives, a high-value and low-volume sector, is growing in importance due to its suit ability in modern automated production lines in the electrical and electronics industries. These adhesives can be either thermally or UV-cured, with the trend moving towards dual-cure systems, whereby UV curing allows the component to be fixed in place first with a subsequent natural curing of the adhesive as the second and final stage. New adhesive trends include those based on nanotechnology with conductive properties based on an 80% silver content.
