When one year-old Shacquiel Douglas began choking on a grape, his grandmother dialed 911. Despite calling two more times and being assured that help was "on its way," the grandmother was never told that two emergency medical technicians (EMTs) had gotten lost because they didn't know the neighborhood, according to a lawsuit filed by the boy's parents. The parents claim that the ambulance arrived at their Philadelphia home 10 minutes later. As a result of the delay, the boy died of asphyxia.
