It has been a few years since I learned that a title is an important device for giving the reader an encapsulated overview of what they can expect in a book, and that it should therefore be chosen carefully. It did not take long, however, to discover that the title of Beare's edited volume is somewhat of a misnomer, since money laundering is only peripherally mentioned in a few articles, and corruption as a specific topic is really only the subject...
