I have been touting the Fox Chain in recent weeks for superb angling, and with good reason.

It seems that because the Midwest and much of Canada got off to a very late start in the spring, we are experiencing what I like to call "catch-up days."

Late ice breakup drove Northwoods lodge owners crazy. Those of you who planned your fishing vacations during sport show time received a rude awakening when notified that many lakes failed to shed their winter complexion on time.

When weed growth finally performed its annual arrival, we got a chance to see some terrific fishing.
