* One has to wonder about the veracity of an NCR article when the only source cited is another newspaper. In his story on Bishop William Murphy's residence in the old convent building at St. Agnes Cathedral parish (NCR, Oct. 25), Dick Ryan repeats much of the misinformation that was originally reported in Newsday. Beyond that, he provided some misinformation of his own.

Before any thoughts were given to the sale of the Kellenberg house, it was, in fact, offered to the sisters who had moved out of the St. Agnes convent....
