MELBOURNE - Newly merged McGuigan Simeon Wines Ltd (MGW) (ASX:MGW) is in a position to take over Balranald Vineyards for $28.3 million (US$15.67 million) in a cash and share deal nutted out after a dispute about grape sales contracts was settled.

Simeon, which was in dispute with Balranald before it merged with McGuigan Wines, takes over management and secures a high quality long term grape supply in a 15 year lease of Balranald's Sunraysia vineyard.
