Power amplifiers are critical in determining the range, data rate performance and power consumption of WLAN systems.
Designated the LX5503E(TM), the new two-stage amplifier targets 4.8-5.85GHz, medium-gain requirements found in the wireless LAN NIC cards and access points of IEEE 802.11a/b/g, HiperLAN2 and U-NII (FCC Unlicensed National Information Infrastructure) applications.
