Interliant, Inc. (OTCBB:INIT), a leading provider of managed infrastructure solutions, today announced the sale of its networking and security hardware and software business to Westborough, Massachusetts-based Akibia, Inc., a provider of infrastructure consulting services. The transaction was completed on August 22, 2002, and included the networking and security hardware and software business managed by Interliant's office in Woburn, Massachusetts. Business managed by the company's Vienna, Virginia office was not included in the transaction.
