Why has Kidoco, a Chinese-Vietnamese co-owned firm, decided to build the plant in the US instead of China, where it already has good relationships with local traders?

Kidoco has not exported goods to China for a few years now. It is a big potential market but we had to stop shipping our confectionery there because the Chinese customers often bought on credit. The unreliability of payment made us look elsewhere for investment.
