Students at Libertyville High School and Vernon Hills High School this fall will perform "Les Miserables," one of the most famous musicals in the world.

They are the first high school acting group in the state to be able to perform the play. Previously, high schools were not allowed to perform "Les Miserables" because of its level of difficulty. Now, the historic musical has been opened up to high school actors, with some changes.
