Congratulations to the winners of Flooring Magazine's inaugural Innovation Awards!

A panel of five retailers representing five different areas of the United States rated self-nominated products on function, style and innovation during Surfaces. We extend our heartfelt thanks to these hard-working judges who spent many hours learning about new product and technology innovations!

Two winners were chosen flora each of seven categories. Top point-getters received embossed ribbons at their booths during the show. And the winners are....

CARPETS/RUGS

STAINMASTER introduced more than 186 styles of carpet this year, as well as a new carpet cushion produced with the Carpenter Co. and a STAINMASTER resilient flooring produced with Mannington. The company also introduced the new vizani floor category in partnership with TacFast Systems and Beaulieu Canada. The patented interlocking hook plates, discs and carpet mosaics can be installed over any existing finished or unfinished surface, and allow for repeated changes of the STAINMASTER carpet mosaics.

828 International Trading Co. introduced a new power-loomed rug collection, Royal Elegance, that uses 14 colors in a high-density weave. The rugs are woven of heat-set polypropylene in transitional, classic Persian and French patterns...
