Thieves took about 200 lawn signs for Eugene City Councilor Betty Taylor from south Eugene front yards over the weekend in what appears to be an orchestrated effort, the campaign said Tuesday.

"That's every single one of them we put up," said Taylor's campaign manager, Kate O'Donnell.

Taylor, seeking her third term on the council, faces Maurice Denner in the May 18 primary election.
