NEW YORK - It had been extended for almost three weeks, and through three time zones.

And then Oregon's season was over in a little more than 10 minutes.

After 30 games and three NIT victories, the Ducks were done in by their own misplays and a Michigan team that seemed to have few faults and no weaknesses. It was a bad combination.

`They were better than I expected,' Oregon's Andre Joseph said. `Man, that was the longest game ever. We played poor on offense, we played poor on defense and that equaled a poor performance.'
