PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local DUBAI INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE CO. is currently involved in the development of a commercial and residential complex in Dubai, UAE. In so doing, the company recently awarded the main construction package to AL-AHMADIAH CONTRACTING & TRADING (KCSC) of the Emirates.

According to the terms of the award, AL-AHMADIAH will be responsible for completing the sub and sub-structures as well as the associated embedded mechanical, electrical and plumbing works. The Al-Murooj undertaking will comprise: - 10-20 story towers encompassing an area of some 190,000 square

meters; - A 220-room 3-star hotel including a total built-up area of

40,000 square meters; - A 4200 square meter department store; - Restaurants, entertainment and recreational amenities; - A car parking area.

The cost to complete the undertaking has been pegged at $96,000,000. And, project completion is scheduled for some time around August 2004.

KCSC employs a total staff of about 2,500 is engaged in civil engineering and contracting works.
