NEW YORK - It took two traditional symbols that the basketball season was over - Seniors' Day and Oregon's annual postseason banquet - to unite the Ducks in a way they hadn't quite been before, and to inspire them to keep the season going.

That the Ducks are here, to play Michigan in the National Invitation Tournament semifinals Tuesday night, is the result of Oregon's best stretch of the season - six wins in seven games - snapping a four-game losing streak and saving the place of this team in UO history.
