Health Minister Stephen Ladyman, today announced the Government's support for the Carers (Equal Opportunities) Bill.

Dr. Ladyman also announced a new funding boost of GBP320,000, over three years, for the charity StartHere. The charity provides carers with self-help electronic information via touchscreen kiosks, the internet, WAP phones and digital TV on benefits and services. This grant will enable the charity to develop a localised service for the whole of England.
