Would you like to have a say in how the courts in your area deliver services? If so, the Department for Constitutional Affairs wants to hear from you.

People across England and Wales are being asked to apply to join one of the 42 new Courts Boards being set up. A major national and regional recruitment campaign has just begun, running throughout April, to find a cross-section of people to join the community-focussed Courts Boards. With seven members on each Board, nearly 300 people will be appointed.

Courts Minister Christopher Leslie said: "The success of this important initiative depends on local people being involved because they know their community better than anyone.
