Publisher takes case to high court

A Detroit-based publishing company whose $1.5 million copyright- infringement judgment was overturned by the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals will ask the U.S. Supreme Court to take the case.

Southfield attorney Mayer Morganroth, who represented Detroit-based Murray Hill Publications Inc., said last week that he would ask the Supreme Court for leave to appeal, after seeking a rehearing by the Appeals Court in Cincinnati.
