Three years ago, Dean Kostos published his first collection of poems, The Sentence That Ends with a Comma; two years ago, the anthology he co-edited, Mama's Boy: Gay Men Write about Their Mothers, was released. These earlier projects, Kostos says, planted the seeds for his current projects. His second collection of poems is, he says, "'complete,' its overall structure established. Yet, being a poet who endlessly rewrites, I have my work cut out for me before approaching a publisher."
