WELCOME to a Dancewave's Kids Company rehearsal, where young dancers not only meet renowned choreographers but are also lucky enough to have these artists re-create their works for young people to perform. This four-year-old program gives students extraordinary exposure to cutting-edge choreographers. In addition to Dorfman (who is working with the company for the second lime), Mark Morris, Bill T. Jones, Trisha Brown, Twyla Tharp, Donald Byrd, and Doug Varone have all restaged their choreography for Kids Company....
