It's not hard to understand why the Blackhawks haven't won a Stanley Cup in 41 years.

They focus their energies on firing broadcasters, making sure peanut vendors don't stand on arena sidewalks, and threatening season-ticketholders with extortion letters.

They tell their star players to go scratch, only to see them win Stanley Cups in cities east and west.

And now the 800-pound gorilla known as the Wirtz family is trying to flick a flea off a banana with a jackhammer.

Waiting until the last possible moment, in order to cause as much pain and inconvenience as possible, Blackhawks ownership has filed suit against Jim McMahon's "Chicago Stadium" restaurant.

According to those close to Bill Wirtz, he wants McMahon's group to change the name...
