MILWAUKEE -- Catholic Financial Services Corporation, investment adviser and distributor for The Catholic Funds, Inc. (CFI) family of funds, announced today the launching of the restructured, enhanced index fund, The Catholic Equity Fund with the consolidation of three CFI funds, and which commenced operations April 3, 2002. The Catholic Funds family includes The Catholic Money Market Fund, which commenced operations January 7, 2000.
The Catholic Equity Fund seeks to obtain a total return from dividends and capital gains which is equal to the total return of the S&P 500(R) Index, less the Fund's operating expenses.
